Several politicians in Denmark have criticized local Muslim clerics for meeting with
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the sidelines of the climate conference in Copenhagen.
"They should have at least distanced themselves from a regime that imprisons its citizens and punishes students for being homosexuals," said Martin Henriksen, a spokesperson for the Danish People’s Party.
