United States and Israel in an Era of Uncertainty

The United States and Israel are close allies fighting Global Jihadist terrorism throughout the years.

Since Barack Hussein Obama became president of the United States of America, this diplomatic relationship/friendship entered a new era of challenges and obstacles. President Obama decided to adopt a pro-Muslim/pro-Islam/pro-Arab foreign policy. His explanation is that the new diplomatic policy will create better relationship with the Arab world and a better image for the United States of America around the globe.

The last incident in eastern Mediterranean Sea vividly illustrated the true intentions of the Jihadists. The flotilla of peace was a rouse to smuggle terrorists and weapons to Gaza in order to attack Israel. Specifically, the supporters of the so-called flotilla of peace were pro-Palestinians and pro-Hamas organizations and individuals in various European nation-states mainly from Britain, Greece, and Turkey. These specific organizations were involved in sending previous aid convoys to the Gaza Strip by land and sea. The main purpose of these organizations and individuals was to make a show of sending humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip in order to embarrass Israel and exert diplomatic and media pressure.

At the same time, various countries such as, Greece and Turkey, and political, social, human rights, and humanitarian organizations from the aforementioned countries attempted to capitalize on making statements for propaganda and of anti-Semitic sentiment. Some organizations, particular those in Europe, cooperated with each other. For example, in Greece all the political parties and media supported the flotilla of peace and argued that these pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas groups do not support terrorism. In addition, the European Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza (ECESG) via the voice of its activist Rani Abdo argued that Israel is a terrorist state. Also, evidences indicate that these European socio-political organizations are in touch with the pro-Hamas de-facto administration in the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, evidence illustrated that behind the organizational function of the flotilla of peace was the Free Gaza Movement. This organization is registered in Cyprus as a human rights project and is headquartered in Nicosia the capital of Cyprus. Its website states that Free Gaza Movement operates branches in 28 nation-states, including 11 in Europe, 5 in North America (4 in the U.S. and 1 in Canada), and a branch in Israel (referred to on the movement’s website as "Palestine 1948 territories"). The organizational framework of the Free Gaza Movement also includes the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), which also participated in latest flotilla of peace. Some of the countries that Free Gaza Movement has branches are: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Norway, and the United Kingdom (with offices in England and Scotland).

The Turkish government spearheaded this campaign of peace, because Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan wants to play an influential role in the Middle East reclaiming the Ottoman Empire’s influence. Ankara supported the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), which is a Turkish foundation. Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also plays an influential role, because he and the Mullahs want to expand the Islamic revolution in the Middle Eastern region and destroy Israel.

As Palestinian Media Watch reported, the day prior the flotilla of peace reached the blockade, Al-Jazeera TV filmed the so-called "peace activists" chanting an Islamic battle cry: "Remember Khaibar, oh Jews! The army or Muhammad will return!" Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad’s army in 628. Many Jews were killed in the battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are many Muslims, who view that as a precursor to future wars against the Jews. At gatherings and rallies of Islamists and Jihadists, this chant is often used and heard as a threat to Jews to expect to be defeated and killed again by Muslims.

As the ships approached the blockade, the Israeli navy issued repeated a serious warning: "You are approaching an area of hostility which is under a naval blockade. The Gaza area, coastal region and Gaza harbor are closed to all maritime traffic." The Israeli naval authorities emphasized that the Israeli government supports delivery of humanitarian supplies to the civilian population in Gaza strip, and invites you to enter the Ashdod port. Delivery of the supplies in accordance with the authority’s regulations [i.e., Israel’s prohibitions on materials that could help Hamas assault Israel] will be through the formal land crossings and under observation, after which you can return to your home posts aboard the vessels on which you arrived. The peace activists replied "Shut up. Go back to Auschwitz." "Our destination is Gaza." "We’ve helping the Arabs go against the U.S. Don’t forget 9/11."

The Obama administration reacted very slowly in this matter. President Obama argued that both sides need to show restrain and Israel must stop the Gaza blockade. He called for an international investigation in order to achieve the international standards. Vice President Joe Biden lukewarmly stated that Israel has the right to defend herself. It is clear that this Democratic administration believes that Israel heavy-handedly tries to solve the Israeli-Palestinian crisis. It is wrong this new American foreign policy. Specifically, the Obama administration has propagandized Israel, the only true democratic nation-state in the Middle East, against all the enemies.

The right response for the American administration is to support Israel and use the Mediterranean Sea as a military platform to punish these Islamic terrorist groups which threaten the existence and survival of Israel. Especially, the U.S. sixth fleet and elements of the U.S. Air Force can use the islands of Crete and Cyprus to launch air and naval strikes. Also, the U.S. Special Forces can use these islands as geostrategic platforms to execute black ops against high value targets regarding Jihadist terrorist groups in the region. In addition, the American government needs to give Israel the most sophisticated weapons to defend her national interest.

Furthermore, the Obama government needs to chastise both Greece and Turkey for this pro-terrorist support. Adopting these diplomatic measures the United States clearly shows that is the last place of hope that supports freedom and liberty and safeguards her national interests. President Obama needs to support Israel, because this small Jewish nation-state is the heart of the Middle East and the hope for its future. The Jewish people have given to the world greatest scientists and scientific discoveries. The Middle East region is vital and crucial for the survival of the U.S. national interests. Furthermore, the U.S. Department of Justice needs to monitor the Free Gaza Movement in the American proper and across the globe for the purpose to curtail its so-called humanitarian work.

Moreover, the pro-Islam American foreign policy has not established or even safeguarded the fruits that President Obama dreamed to spread in the region. Middle East is still radicalized. Specifically, Turkey has totally resisted intense pressure from President Obama to support a new wave of U.N. sanction on Iran regarding the nuclear program that Mullahs want to build; with witch Turkey has a $10 billion trade relationship. Also as evidence clearly illustrate, that the Turkish government has become more radicalized and aggressive in foreign policy. The current administration in Turkey wants to be seen as a major Middle Eastern player. It is clear that President Obama has weakened American foreign policy by adopting a new approach to Middle Eastern issues
